Remarks
Over all its an average university. If you can pick up yourself and study from books then faculties would help you and push you. You get to grow well but being in remote position it's difficult for university to cope up with city side universities.
Entrance Preview
I got in with my 12th score. Although KLU has their own entrance exam. If your 12th score is good enough, management doesn't ask for exams. National exam score like JEE score is also accepted.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course covers variety of topics required for the engineering. The practical learning is minimal though. There are plenty of Research goes on in the university, students get to be part of it. You have to do both CGPA courses and non CGPA courses to complete degree. Non CGPA courses includes personal grooming and extra curricular activities.
Internships Opportunities
The internship are self arranged. Students have to arrange their own internship. It is mandatory to do internship for everyone but it would not be arranged by university.
Placement Experience
There is very few placements at the moment. During my batch, we had TCS and some other overseas companies for mechanical engineering.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure changes with time. For my batch whole course and hostel cost came upto 4.5 lakhs. It includes better hostel facilities. Now the fee structure would b different and would be costlier.
Fees and Financial Aid
Internships were there, when I was studying but it was there but now there are no such facilities that am aware of.
Exam Structure
Exams happens very frequently and the quality of evaluation is very poor. I guess same is the case with many universities in country.
Faculty
The faculties are of mixed bag. Some are really good but some are not upto mark.K LU has large pool of doctorates. They are good too but juniors are not that great.
