I'm still at the start but I sure am enjoying every bit of it!

All in all JSSATE is one such college which is fit for everything. Sports, cultural activities etc are given the amount of importance required but academics obviously takes the bigger share. The faculty are lenient but within limits. The quality of students coming or as engineers is really good. Seniors and juniors bond over many things and thus safety, security and other things are things which you don't need to bother.

I got into JSSATE through K-CET! I got the seat in the final round of allotment. There was no interview process but a few questions was asked during admission. I am doing mechanical engineering now. I have been interested in mechanics since long ago so it wasn't difficult choosing branches

The course now is same for all branches as I'm still first year but it's only going to get better. Innovative methods of teaching are used.

There isn't internships but as I said the training we get is almost equivalent to an internship in any company. The more experienced faculty guide through every party of college ensuring a good end result for each student

Placements are fairly good. Big MNCs come and recruit a few of us. But the training they give us is extraordinary and helps us a lot for our future projects

The fests held were big and had all sorts of events. The college authorities handled most of them and also let the students organised some events.

It's affordable is you've got your marks right. I got in for an approximate 1 lakh rupees for a K-CET rank of 25002. A better rank would've got me a cheaper rate along with a little scholarship

The college provided scholarships as per need. Sports quota, NCC quota and others are valid and loans are also given for a particular amount

Extracurricular activities in JSSATE is never left behind. College fests are conducted in every even semester. Blood donation campus, industrial visits, road safety programs etc are conducted. Sports are a big part of JSSATE. We have a superbly maintained cricket ground and ab awesome team. We also have basketball, badminton and table tennis teams

There are single and sharing rooms. The food was amazing and facilities are good. I'm not sure about the amount

The alumni have an annual meet. They interact with freshers giving them valuable info about JSS college life and also subjects.

The schedule of college is really good. Labs are there on selected days and thus are no burden. Exams come once a month but the teachers help us to prepare well. So the culture here is not a burden not chilled out... It's perfect!

Faculty is the best thing about the college. They are super friendly and bond with everyone in short amounts of time. They are well experienced and the standard is top class.
