I had gone through the syllabus before getting enrolled in this course and it seemed promising with newly emerging technologies. It had almost everything needed for an IT background. About student and faculty ratio is around 70:1, which is quite big and can be improved. The faculties are highly qualified in their respective subjects and are very supportive and easy to interact with. Students can talk about their problems and teachers are always ready to help them solve them. Well, we are having our unit test this week around 1 month later but I haven't given any exams yet...

Fees here are quite minimal according to another college, it is a government-aided college so fees are not so high. For scholarships, you can apply for any government scholarship which will give you scholarships up to 10,000 a year. But there is not any specialized scholarship in college, at least I'm not aware of. Furthermore, I'm applying for a private scholarship as well. I'm new in college so don't know about stipend or placement salary much but according to the university placement salary is good, about the internship, we will be having this opportunity during the 6th semester, and for placement company will come on the 9th or 10th semester, which we will have to get based on our skills.

We are studying in the department of the university so there is not any competition or contest conducted by the department itself. However, we can participate in competition conducted by any organization or government. There is a student corner for improving our art arranged by AVBP daily. Students can even get memberships for swimming and gym to practice by themselves. There is one personal library of our department which can be accessed by only students of this department but the main library of Vadhu can be used by anyone after getting a pass. They will provide us with a subscription to the online library as well. Classes are non AC and there is wifi connection as well. Regarding festivals, it is a huge university so festivals will be celebrated by all departments on a grand level. Our seniors will also guide us about coding by themselves through the WhatsApp group.

We had to apply online on VNSGU's official website with our documents like mark sheets, caste certificates, account details, etc.(everything was done on a computer or mobile). Then based on our marks on the 12th merit list was flashed on the website on said date. There wasn't any entrance exam for merit rank. I was called by the faculty to submit my documents in hard form which were given back on the same day after getting checked. Reservation: Sc-7%, St-15%, Sebc-27%, Ews-10%, and PH-3%.
