Quick overview of SCET - IT

The course structure is good for information technology and faculties are very helpful in terms of education and placement suggestions. Faculty: Student ratio is lumpsum 1:7. Faculties are educated from NITs and their teaching method is outstanding. There are 2 exams for a year and it is not that difficult to pass. You can manage if you study regularly what faculties teach.

You will get internships easily in local companies. Narola Infotech, Logix built, La net, crest info system, and case point are some of the companies that offer web developer and app developer roles in various technologies with approx. 5 to 10k stipend. They will take a 1 to 1 interview and ask to perform small practical tasks in your technology stack.

Students will be eligible from the 2nd year for placement. There is daily 1 2 companies came for placement and they made approx 3 4 offers. The highest package was 12 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA for different software engineering profiles. Almost all students can get placement through college. Currently, I am working in an organization where I got placed through the placement.

The fee is 121000 per year and can hike up to 5k per year. So, it would cost you around 5 lakhs for the whole 4 years. You can consider a TFWS seat to deduct your tuition fees. Free ship card service is also available to waive fees. I got an offer for a 3.60LPA with a 7k stipend PM.

There is an annual fest called Exuberance and a tech fest named Converse. There are plenty of books in the library which you can get anytime. The classroom is a bit old-fashioned. Yearly extra activities are there such as sports day in winter. You can follow the scet account on Instagram that is run by students to get updates on all the activities.

Candidate should have ACPC rank lower than 10000 to get admitted and below 2000 to get TFWS seat. For application, be updated with the ACPC admission process for B.E. There will be a nominal cost for registration on ACPC. The application date will be approx in June. It would be better if you reserve your seat by paying 20k first installment in round 1. The admission process is online now. So it is easy for anyone to get admitted.
