Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is very good. The faculty members are also very supportive and helpful and all the professors are at least Ph.D graduates even the assistant professors are master's degree holders. semesters exams are not too hard to pass. class notes and questions solved by teachers are enough to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
The internship was offered to the students in the 2nd and 3rd years. The teachers and faculty are very helpful in providing internship opportunities to the students. They refer to the students to different good companies.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good almost 85-90% of students get placed. The Highest placement in 2022 is 26 lpa and the average is around 9-10lpa. some of the top recruiters are Samsung, ICIC Bank, Accenture, etc. The college provides many internship opportunities to 2 and 3-year students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the B.Tech course per year is INR 16350. since Jamia millia islamia is a central university and its alumni network is distributed across the globe, you can get a wide range of opportunities for scholarships such as NSP.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good with well-equipped labs and libraries. Many classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The sports complex of Jamia has almost all the sports facilities available. Many events and societies are there in the college like IEEE and SAE.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good. The rooms are neat and clean. For girls the hostels are easily available however for boys there are limited seats. The hostels are quite affordable.
Admission
The eligibility requirement for the course is that the candidate must have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with physics, chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects and obtained at least 55% marks in the above subjects taken together. Candidates need to apply for JEE Main first and then they can apply for JMI by submitting a JMI online application form. Candidates are required to fill in their JEE Main application number in the JMI application form. The application fee for the JMI application form is INR 550.
