Reality of IPU's best College MSIT

I opted for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) because it fascinates me more. The course and curriculum seem fine but some subjects like Engineering Graphics which make no sense have to be removed from the course as it is Super Time Consuming and our hard work is thrown into the trash after the end of the semester. Same with the making of practical files. The faculty of MSIT is good. The student ratio is such that in a Class of 60 students there are 50 boys and 10 Girls. All the faculty members are qualified and they have proper knowledge of their subject. But teaching method is very much old-fashioned because of less interaction with students while teaching. In a semester of 6 months this is a mid-term exam and end sem exam which is easy to pass.

COLLEGE PROVIDES internship opportunities. in some big giants like TCS also. 3000-8000 are some stipends that are given on a weekly basis. Attendance tracker is a project which helps students to track their attendance.

Placements are good, TCS Wipro visits campus and offers a great package. Students also grab off-campus placement. The highest package is 1.2 crore an ECE student grabs that. The average package is 10 lakhs. 80% of students get placed. I will run a startup after getting my degree.

1 Lakh 56 thousand is a 1-year fee. There is no fee hike policy which is great about this college. There is no opportunity for a scholarship. The fee structure of this college is amazing which is one of the major reasons why I opt for this college rather than any other private engineering college in Delhi.

MSIT has one of the smallest campuses among all the colleges of IPU. Tech fest is ENVA and the annual fest is ANVESIS both of them are conducted in Feb-march. The library of this college is good it has a proper stock of boobs and refreshers. 4 fans in a class of 60 students with 2 nonworking AC. GEEK ROOM is a website run by students in which they boost coding culture.

The admission process was super smooth. I scored 94.6 percentile in JEE and I secured a 50461 General Rank. So I applied for IP University counseling in which there were round, firstly we have to do the choice filling for preferred college and course. Then after rounds, we get shortlisted. I got my name in MSIT CSE in the first round itself so freeze my seat and paid the amount which was 40-50k to confirm my admission. Then after when counseling gets finished then we have to go to our respective colleges for complete admission. ALL the forms, application fees, and dates everything is present on the IP University website. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is that during the time of choice filling students don't have a proper idea of doing this. So some sort of tutorial should be provided to make this process more hassle-free.
