- I liked the diversity here. You will get people from all over India.
- Student ratio is good here. No gender inequality is here. So you can make friend of opp gender too.
- Placements is good for CS IT branches plus the alumni network is good as college is old.
Dislikes
- There is very plenty things I dont liked. A little bit partiality is here on North South basis.
- People speaking Kannada and prefer you to learn Kannada and want you to speak in English. Although many are good they will talk you in Hindi too.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a prior interest in CSE that's why I choose this course also it's the most trending course these days. It is the best field with rapid growth and better return value. The student ratio is 2:1 in CSE. Faculties are maximumly qualified and some are good and some are not up to the mark. Exams get postponed sometimes due to VTU guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like JP Morgan, HP, Cisco, and Visa, comes for internship. They will mainly test you on Dsa but if you have a great project they will focus on it. It depends on your resume and what you have mentioned there.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in recent years. The previous year was the most flourishing year with an average of 9+ for all branches and a whooping 12-13 lacs for IT branches. All of the IT student gets placed. I am willing to placements and to make a future in the IT industry.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are less for Kcet students but a bit high for Comedk students. Approx 2.5 lacs admission fee excluding hostel. Overall 3 lacs overall for a year. The scholarship is present for kcet students. Girls scholarship is available.
Campus Life
The annual fest's name is Technieks. It's not that grand but our competing college JSS has a grand fest Jayciana so you will enjoy the fest on both sides. Sports and eca are up to the mark. Clubs are here you have all types of clubs and all types of guidance are available for naive students.
Admission
You have to give COMEDK/Kcet exam for admission or the management quota is here. The cutoff in my year was 4309 for CSE in COMEDK. No reservation in the Comedk exam. The admission process is quite easy. Clear exam sits in counselling and reports at the respective college.
