Review of my college

The college should focus more on practical studies and extra curricular activities.My experience in this college was not that great.The academic studies in this college is very nice.This college is one of the best colleges in kanyakumari district

I choose this college through anna university engineering counselling. I did not write any entrance exams.I joined the college directly,no interview process was involved.I chose this course(BE ECE) because I am so interested in modern technological development.

The course was good.In our college very less focus is given on practical learning, which is very important for engineering students.No Research Initiatives were taken by our Institute.Its mainly focusing on theoretical studies to score good marks.Only limited elective options are available,

only some internship were provided.The experience in the internship was great.The average stipend amount paid for internship is around 5k to 10k rupees.

The placement scenario is not that great,but it is somewhat good in our area.Some students with marks 75% and above got placed,The major companies that visited our college was TCS,CTS,Mahendra tech,UST global,Wipro etc.

Only one or two cultural events take place here every year and sometimes no events take place.

Fees structure is not that affordable.I wont say that it is too high.Its similar to other colleges in our area.For hostel students the fees is somewhat high.For day scholar students the transportation fees is normal alike other colleges.

I am a day scholar,I am not residing in hostel.Each hostel room is for two students.No PGs. No idea about the payment,The food is average

We have frequent and continuous exams,labs and classes,and we also have re exams for those who have failed in the evening after the classes sometimes upto night.So we feel utterly tired.

Only some experienced faculties are available.They are very much interactive.Teaching is done very well,but as like I said before only less focus is given on practical studies.
