Remarks

Lab facilities should be improved. Placement training should be improved to improve our student's skills and to remove their fear about facing interviews. Technical activities of students should be encouraged.

I've chosen this course and college through direct counselling conducted by Anna University- Chennai. There is no entrance exam for this.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good . All the basic knowledge about this automobile field has been included in course structure.but the updated field knowledge has not been included in the course structure.

Internships Opportunities

As this is a government aided college and due to college location in rural area, companies are not interested to recruit or to offer an internship to the students.

Placement Experience

Only one company for direct recruitment. Sonalica Tractors has been recruiting students for the position of field officers. This year Bosch- bangalore had recruited 2 students for the post of Graduate Engineering Trainee.

In our department we've conducted a symposium ''Autopia" in 2014. every year sports meet has been conducted in a grand manner namely "KRIDA- key to unity". Then our cultural fest has been conducted every year in a grand manner.

Scholarships are also available for students based on their family income level.

Campus Life

Our college was situated in a rural area.the college campus is around 128 acres. there are more than 11 ug courses and 8 pg courses. infrastructure of our college is good. many clubs like rotaract club, manam club, philolexian club are there to improve our student's extracurricular activities. Sports department encourages our students to participate actively in all kinds of sports. our campus is a wi-fi wnabled campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms will be in good condition with lots of shelves in rooms, good toilet and bathrooms facility, water facility and hygienic foods. 4 to 5 members will be staying in each room. Yearly fees for hostel is Rs.12,500 and mess fees will be calculated

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association should be improved fr the betterment of our Students and it'll be helpful in placement and job opportunities with the help of alumnus.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
