Remarks

Very strict rules while talking to students in opposite gender and I think this must change and very strict timings as we were allowed only in the morning times to the college and we were nothing if we have no identity card with us and they treat us like some workers

Entrance Preview

It's college own entrance examination and I got admission directly in counselling and interview was just about my choice of branch and my interest in electronics made me choose ece

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was a typical engineering course like in all colleges and practical experience completely depends on individual and yes research has been taken and we are one of the institute to launch a satellite in year 2016 in the name of Sathyabama sat and elective options are from 3-2 semister and are choosen based on our interest and those are core subjects

Internships Opportunities

No they didn't provide any internship but we did an internship in hyderabad in RTTC and there was no stipend as we didn't have any prior experience and it was enjoyable

Placement Experience

4

Most of the placement companies are Software companies and hardly I think 10% students got placed till now and most of the companies required CSE/it candidates and some of the major companies till now are Capgemini,Wipro,Direction,Ingram etc and average package was around 4lpa

College Events

4.5

There were technical fests every year in months of September and October and we got the opportunity to express ourselves and we did a mini project in 3rd year for which we were awarded and all surrounding colleges were invited for another festival

Fee Structure And Facilities

At the time of our batch joining it was around 1.8 Lpa per year and it has increased now to 2.5 lpa and this 1.8 lpa include hostel fees and mess fees also and if hostel fees is excluded it will be around 1.2LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they do provide and it was for some private organisations which are raised by familiar personalities and they only include poor people and me being basically a middle class guy didn't avail any scholarship and they didn't provide any help in loan but the top performers of every batch for respective year were awarded with scholarships

Campus Life

4

Majority of extracirculars include Clubs like maths club ,CDC club and I am part of maths club because of my ability to understand maths and solve tricky concepts and facilities were not so good because we were always asked to sit in the class most of the times

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I stayed in hostel for first 2years and Enjoyed being in 1st year hostel where 7members shared a room with 2bathrooms and separate beds and they don't have pgs and second year hostel rooms are horrible

Alumni/Alumna

We got to interact with the alumni in the final year during our placements and shared their views regarding placements and their experience and what are the skills required to get placed and it was about a day and yes they are helping the present students so they are contributing to the college as well as students

Exam Structure

No not really at starting we felt like that but I thought it gradually increased in every student and it was not a chill culture when we first joined

Faculty

4

All are m.tech pursued individuals with good experience and interaction is average and I must say it is partial too and some of the agers are very good in explaining the depth concepts whereas someone just slay around

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.
