The college is really and supportive in all the fields

NIET might be bad but not the worst college for Biotechnology. Worst is our Neighbouring college i.e. IILM. Even they have all PhD faculty and organize plethora of activities and have good networking, they are perhaps the worst for Biotechnology because our faculty aims at strengthening the basics at least even if they can't promote research.Their is exactly no specific scale on which I can grade my college, but I will say that relatively it's better than other colleges.Rest it completely depends upon you whether you are one to dig out coal from Earth or wait for it to get surfaced. Institute is just a medium.

When I compare my college with others in NCR region, I find it suitable for my course since our faculty is co-operative and helpful. But beside departmental aid, NIET is not supportive to students in any regard. I wrote two entrance exams UPSEE, UPTU

Since we study the course set by AKTU, Lucknow the course is worst and their is no practical learning. No research initiatives are taken by Institution but significant investment has been done in innovation and setting up entrepreneural enterprise.

No, college doesn't provide internship. The staff is under-qualified and labs don't suffice the prerequisites of training/internship. No stipend is given. Though things are different with Computer er Science branch. CS is the only branch after MBA that see multiple investment and utter importance and attention and the internships are given to them.But no stipend.

Placement condition is precarious. There are times when companies like Nestle, Lifecell come and sometime they don't. Not all placement companies are fixed. You might see new companies coming to campus. NIET works rigorously in expanding it's placement possibilities and that's kind of positive thing.

We have only Tech. Fest. Cultural fest and other stuff doesn't take place. The investment from college side is very less and events are just for the sake of happening. It's not organized with any serious motive

Fee increases every year. For first year it's 1 lakh 18 thousand, for rest of the years it's 97,600. Accommodation charges are 75,000 and the hostel accommodation is worst for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th yr though it is good for 1st yr.

No, college doesn't provide any sort of scholarship. Yes they help in getting loan. I have taken an education loan and received every kind of help from college.

Zero in terms of extracurricular. Competitive events are open only for college students. Other college students aren't invited because college fears competition.We don't get any opportunities. We discover them either in other colleges in vicinity or in Delhi colleges.

Condition is pathetic. Strongly recommend not to go for NIETs accommodation. Better look for hostel/PG outside. The food is not good even the facilities are also not provided properly.

Alumni meet is held every year. That's again for the sake of organising. Students aren't informed and not even allowed/invited for interaction. The alumni at the first place prefer not to come back again to college and if they do, students aren't encouraged for the student-alumni interaction. I wonder most of them don't even know meaning of Alumni and what and when the meet is organized.

Yes, the class are functional on Saturdays as well. The college events are rare. First year is exhausting but then it becomes a chill culture. The exams are also chill culture.

Faculty are though from good Institution like IITs or Jamia Milia Islamia, or TERI University but they don't teach properly. Though they are supportive in case if you put extra effort in research activities or anything by your own. They are interactive but class teaching is not proper.
