Informative informations for students.

The course teaches us about the economic, commercial, management, accounting & financial terms used in every institution & business. I chose this course to gain knowledge about the terms discussed above & to get graduated. The faculty: student ratio is 1teacher:200students per subject. Some teachers are well qualified but some are in training period and teach and change regularly as they are not permanent. The exams are conducted semester-wise. Each semester must be of 6 months but it is not followed properly and exams are conducted uncertainly within either 2-3-4-5 months depending upon the university timetable. It is not so difficult to pass if you are consistent enough to study regularly for at least 2 hours.

The fee structure is 2087 at the admission time in 2021. Scholarship opportunities are there if you score good marks in 12th under the CHSE board you are eligible to get Rs30000 for a laptop and you can apply for other scholarships as well which will be notified by SAAMS. No campus jobs are available.

No fest is conducted Books are available in the library but some are not updated. Black-board and desks are available with the lights and fans in the classroom. No sports but some extracurricular activities are performed.

The admission process was made on a merit basis according to the percentage secured by the students. It was held in online procedure and selection was made according to the cutoff marks. For pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree i.e., B.com you have to pass the 12th examination without fail and you must have taken commerce in your 12th, and science students may opt for B.com but not the humanities/art students. You have to apply through the SAAMS website and apply the application form from the SAAMS website near your nearby college which comes under Utkal University. If you are selected then you have to take a print of the intimation letter and 10th & 12th certificate for verification to get admission. Application fees were near Rs270-Rs300. Application dates will be given by the SAAMS website. Reservation benefits are given to SC & ST caste and specially-abled students but not to the General caste. The improvement required in the admission process is that there should be clear notice.
