Since INDIA is a developing country where infrastructure plays a major role. so for that infrastructure civil engineering is like a backbone. and also the opportunities for this branch are comparatively more when compared to other branches like mechanical and environmental engineering. the major recuirters are L&T, technip energies , MEGA infra, TATA steel, JSW, ADANI GROUP, etc.

After completion of the 6th semester, students will be eligible for campus placements. there should be no backlog in all 6 semesters. The companies visited are L&T, Technip Energies, TATA Steel, JSW, DALMAI Cement, ADANI Group, DLF, etc. The highest package as of 2023 placements is 9.5 LPA and the average package is 5LPA. 70% of the students are receiving placements and the rest choosing their careers for higher studies.

The fees are generally very less which costs you around 30000 for civil engineering for both semesters. and for every 2 years, there is a price hike of 10% of the previous fees. You will receive a scholarship named JVD (Jagan anna vidya deevana) for this scholarship you should have a white Rasan card and also any of your parents should not be a government employees. and you should not have a 4-wheeler. this is the only scholarship that most of the students receive.

The annual fest is AURORA and there will be 2 technical fests in a year one in the month of September and the other in the month of December. Andhra University has one of the best central libraries among all the colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. there are thousands of books and newspapers which are very helpful to the students. you should submit your ID card and you will be receiving the book for 14 days if you delay returning the book you should pay a penalty fee of 10 rs for the 15th day. The classrooms are excellent they are recently constructed and there is no power cut on the campus.

Firstly you have to pass class 12th boards. And then you should apply for AP EAPCET(Andhra Pradesh Engineering and Pharmacy common entrance test). you will be aware of this exam notification in your respective institutions and in various newspapers. the application fees for AP EAPCET are rs 1200 for OBC and OC and rs 500 for SC and ST. This exam generally consists of 160 questions of which 80 are from mathematics and 40 each from physics and chemistry. Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking .
