Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Electronics and Communications and I feel this is the best decision I have made. I have an interest in this field and thus chose this course. Faculty to student ratio is healthy, which means there are 4-5 faculties teaching one subject.
Internships Opportunities
The students here in the 7th sem have to do an internship compulsorily and the college does not provide such assistance to it. The seniors find internships on their own and do it. The projects and other activities are also on us if we have to do then we can.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in our college. From the 7th sem, I would say, students are eligible for sitting in placements. In the top 3 branches such as CSE, IT and EC there are more companies visiting the campus. Like there is a minimum of 50% of students get placed every year in every branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college fees are very less compared to other colleges. In 1st sem, we paid like 1450 and in 2nd sem, we paid like 850. There is no recent fee hike observed in my college. I should say that the average college fee would be 1500 per sem.
Campus Life
Our college is affiliated with GTU so the annual GTU tech fest is organised in all gtu affiliated colleges. Our college had done an annual fest named viswasanskruti, but I would rate it 5/10. There are clubs like robotics, coding, drama and English. There is a Gymkhana where we can play sports but we should bring our own amenities for playing.
Admission
In Gujarat, there is a centralised process for admission which is called ACPC counselling. I got admission to my college through ACPC counselling. There are total 4 rounds of admission, I got admission in 1st round. The eligibility depends on the merit ranks released by ACPC itself. No such hard criteria like above 80%
