Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much clear about my carrier in the field of mechanical engineering from the 10th standard. At the time of admission, some people told me not to choose this field because of the unemployed mechanical engineers. Once my mind was also changed but my sir told me to follow the path which I wanted to do. There are different faculties for different subjects in our college.
Internships Opportunities
I completed the 15 days internship for the 7th semester on 10 August. It was a great experience in the industry. I completed my internship at mech engineers, this company manufactures heavy industrial equipment. The real knowledge of working at the company clarifies the process more than the study of years and lots of books.
Placement Experience
Campus placement of the students is done in the last year that is from the 7t semester. Actually, there is a 15 days internship for the students of the 7th semester according to the performance, report, and interview (viva) the impressions of the students are reflected. At the end of the 3-month internship generally, the campus placement is carried out.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I'm studying in the GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE which runs under the GOVERNMENT the fees is almost negligible compared to the fees in private colleges. Our yearly fee for the course is 3150/- per year. If you compare it with the fees of a private college then the fees of one student at a private college equals the fees of almost 32 students at a government college. Campus Life
In the previous year, the annual fest was in the month of April. In the same month the tech fest "INFINIUM 2023: ENDLESS INNOVATION" also has been organized. The events like LATH-O-HOLIC, Go Karting, etc were there in the technical fest. The sports week named "CHAMPS CUP 2023" was also organized at the end of April.
Admission
The admission process of the colleges under the Gujrat Technological University (GTU) is generally an online process. This process is carried out in three rounds even after that if the seats are vacant then offline forms have to be filled for admissions. The online process is carried out through the website of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. (https://acpc.gujarat.gov.in). The entrance exam for admissions in the technical Courses especially B.E/B.TECH is GUJCET which is taken by the Gujarat State education board. Eligibility criteria for admissions depend upon the course you select and vary from year to year.
