Course Curriculum Overview

I chose metallurgy because I am interested in Material Science and engineering. The student-faculty ratio is about 20:1. Qualification of the faculty is a doctorate in Metallurgy. Term exams are conducted every six months and the Andhra University paper is a bit tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee hiking has been done since my joining. The cost of study is low compared to other colleges. The name of the scholarship is Jagananna Vasathi and Vidya Deevena. I am yet to appear for my campus placements.

Campus Life

The annual fest has been started again last year after the corona hit. Tech fests are being conducted by separate departments. There is an availability of Central Library and an engineering campus library both name ho after SVS Krishna Library. Extracurricular activities are an opportunity. There are various student clubs like AU United etc.

Hostel Facilities

A room is accommodated two members. The size of the room is sufficient for two members. A fan and light, along with a study table and chair are provided in the room. The meal taste is average. It is affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Joined through EAMCET. This exam can be applied on the Andhra pradesh official eamcet website. The cut-off for my branch during my joining is around 20k for the open category. Reservation benefits are availed. The application fee was around 1500.

1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. My plans after getting college degree is to get a high paying job in a reputable company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
