College with good values

I am over all satisfied with the college because my college made me to learn not only the subject but also the way to behave and interact. Here i am able to enhance my interpersonal skills. Though my score is not good in the semester exams but i am sure that I can get a very good job because the college made me to develop my communication skills and interaction skills which are also an important accept for getting placed. The sport events and cultural events happen quite often in our college and many students show their own interest in participation.

The admission into the college is through a common exam conducted by the government which is called eamcet. I got 24,000 rank in my eamcet and in counseling i kept my first option as vidhyanikethan and for my second option i chose this college as it is a very famous college in our locality. The branch i preferred is cse and i got the same. The subject books are entirely taken from the JNTU kakinada and the exams are also conducted according to their norms. Their is no any interview process but we have to submit certificates.

I chose computer science as my course of study because many believe that we have good Placements in software side so for that reason i chose Cse. The college doesn't focus much on practical learning and even we don't have much equiped labs ,this we are facing lots of problems. The college takes up research initiatives on recent technologies like artificial intelligence and the fourth year students will be a part of those researches. The students coming up new ideas will be very much encouraged and given priority in our college.

The college doesn't provide any internships but they give guidelines and encourage the students to do internships in reputed companies so that we can enhance our skills and can come out with a valuable certificate, which will help us during the times of placement. As i am still a second year student i did not go for any internship till now but our seniors have done an internship in BSNL and they told us the internship is good and knowledgeable. The internships are not provided by college, they are entirely based on student's interest and the staff encouragement.

The placements in our college are not good enough because our college doesn't give money for inviting the companies. So only a few companies visit our college on thier own interest and based on the name and reputation of the college. Here the maximum of the placements are provided for the cse students because most of the companies visiting our campus are software companies. The companies that often visit are wipro,tcs, hcl, tech mahindra etc.,. The average package provided for the students is around 30,000 per month. In our last year about 40% of the students got placed. The college provides many courses for the development of the resume.

The fees structure of our college is decided according to government norms as our college is affiliated to JNTU kakinada and follow all the rules of kakinada jntu. The fees will be around 40,000 per annum and extra amounts will be collected for books, examination. In our college even donation seats are available where the donations will be around 30,000/-. The donation will be decided based on the marks achieved by the students in inter. I think the fees is quite affordable compared to many other colleges which collect lakhs of amount.

We have a very good and experienced faculty with PhD degree's. The many other staff are doing their PhD on technical accepts. They encourage us to take part in workshops and conferences. The college encourages mainly for theoretical learning. The labs in our college are also not so good equiped but our make us to learn atleast a few things practically. The interaction between the staff and the students is quite satisfactory because they solve our problems at any time. They teach us the way of learning and encourage the weak students to get good marks.
