Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it would open up ample opportunities. And with a BEd degree from a reputed institute, I shall secure a job. Then I can also opt for higher paying jobs. The faculty-student ratio is about 30:100. Term and exams are very organized and it is of moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
I am enrolled in a biology and education integrated course, so not much of internship facilities, but camps are organized frequently. Recently we had a camp in Koraput. We enjoyed and learnt a lot there.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am enrolled in a self-financed course so, I have fees of 50000 per year. Although I tried for many scholarships I was not eligible for most of them due to the course. But I received a laptop DBT from the Odisha govt.
Campus Life
All types of facilities are available at the university. Campus life is good with libraries, tech facilities, cooperative faculty and friends. Fests are very common but tech fests are rare. It needs to improve in the tech field.
Admission
There was no entrance exam. The selection was on 5he basis of the aggregate of the 12th and 10th examinations. Application form details can be found on the website of Ravenshaw University. But, now it has shifted to the SAMS website. The counselling process should be more organized.
