Likes

Kanika library was the best thing I like about this institution. It is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
Second thing was it's campus environment which is filled with greenery and gives very peaceful vibes.
There are many programs are held within the campus and gives students a lot of opportunities to develop their co-curricular skills.

Dislikes

High course fee for self financing students.
No for scholarship opportunities for self-financing students.
Not enough hostel facilities for all the students.

I always wanted to be a teacher so I choose this course as it would save me 1 year. For 87 students of our class there are nearly 4 to 5 teacher who are teaching us. Every teacher has completed their masters and some have also completed their doctorate. Exams were held to be within 5-6 months and internal exams are also held in between them and it is pretty easy to pass the examination if you regularly attend classes and study a little bit before examination.

Internships Opportunities

There are various opportunities for internship in Ravenshaw University. There are many groups like corporate internship which encourage students to apply for internship programs with stipends. I haven't joined any internship programs till now so I am unaware of the projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay large amount of fees cause it was a self finance course and there are also not many scholarship opportunities for self finance students. So I haven't received any financial help. But for B.Sc. courses there are many financial help and support as scholarships.

Campus Life

There are many activities in the campus like club activities, blood donation camp, education department annual meet, many hostel celebrate their diamond Jubilee, many other functions and celebration were conducted within the campus. Sports day, athletic meet, Cricket, Volleyball , football tournaments and many other sports activities were held within the campus. Kanika library is one of the best things Ravenshaw have. I have never failed to find any book in the library. Total Ravenshaw, Enliven dance society, Ravenshaw sports group, Nabarambh are the social and WhatsApp groups which are run by students.

Admission

I didn't take any entrance exam but our selection was based on marks scores by students on 12th grade. Cutoff in our year was around 85 %. Application form can be found on Ravenshaw University website. One have to complete 12th course for being eligible to apply for this course. Separate ranking for SCs and STs are there as reservations.

Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this.
