- There is very low fee structure, it is best of our college.
- Our college comes in India's oldest colleges and we have very big alumni network, our college alumni are working on most reputed companies, posts.
- As it is a oldest college so we have proud on it's history. Alumni are connected together and working to re established our placement offers off and on campus both.
Dislikes
- Way of teaching is not like as we expected before the admission. College needed more faculties because of it we lost our enthusiasm to adopt practical knowledge. In labs we can't take basic knowledge of our core subjects, it is not a right .
- Canteen of our college is closed since last 5 month, College needed to build more buildings and in labs there is not proper gadgets, instruments and technicians by it we never feel like we are doing engineering here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosen this branch and college as my Jee Main Exam score and I'm interested in this. Colleges have sufficient seats and it feels like every year but the numbers of faculty should have to increase. In our college faculties are specialized in their own subjects, but the way of explanation and student interest in faculties are not like other reputated institutions like IIT, or NIT. In every semester there are Midterm exams, End semester exams conducted by the college. For passing the exam we have to attend classes daily bases then it not requires any other time to study.
Placement Experience
Students of the 7th semester and 8th Semesters are eligible for placement rounds. Companies Like Infosys, Reliance, Wipro, IBM, KEC international, Capgemini, and Adani Power Limited came last time but since 3-4 years here placement opportunity are decreased. Because our college website is not updated, so we do not have any idea regarding packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college does not have an expensive fee structure. Every type of student, Whoesever financial conditions are not so good can take admitted here. For ST/SC/OBC students there is available category scholarship. And another one is the MMVY scholarship scheme. There is less opportunity for on-campus placement because the number of companies, who come to our college is very less. Therefore the opportunities are fewer.
Campus Life
In our college, the sports fest is conducted by the college "AAVAHAN". In the library there are books present in large numbers, Newspaper comes on a daily basis, there are proper rules and regulations when we go on it. There are so many clubs related to tech, Singing, Poetry, Literature, Entrepreneurship, and sports. By IIC and E-cell last time "SHARK TANK" was conducted.
Admission
For admission, we have to qualify 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and we have to score well in Jee Main exam. For application, I followed MP DTE counseling, from its official website. Yes, there are different types of reservations like Jammu and Kashmeer, Sainik class, Handicapped, EWS, NCC, Female class, and so on.
