It's been a rough experience but worth experiencing

Good thing is that you are not much stressed out because you are not given too much of assignments and timings are flexible. Bad remarks are, the college should work on giving the students a social life and conducting more extracurriculars and programs.

I had to write a common entrance called EAMCET. After that I had to attend the counselling conducted by the ap education board and I got in. No there was no interview process you just have to get a suitable rank in the entrance exam.

The circullum I chose is really good. Practical learning is not upto the mark but you can always do that on your own. You just need a computer or a pen and paper for computer science engineering. Yes, Research initiatives have been taken up by the college and they encourage the young talent and your ideas.

Yes! The college does provide internship. I have no experience at all though because I'm still in 2nd year. But I'll get to do it in the end of 3rd year. I heard from my seniors that you get a nice experience working as an intern and I have no idea about the stipend .

Placements are really good. Almost all people who apply for campus placements get placed in some or the other company. But it still depends on the individual person's skill and talent. Microsoft and Google also the campus and few students got placed with a handsome salary.

AFOSEC is the cultural and technical fest held once in a year. It's inter college fest. Many local college students come and participate and enjoy. It's not that big and all but definitely fun.

It is affordable. Providing engineering services at 1,02,000 per annum is not possible. But Vrsec does that. And if you are from a economically backward class or from a minority community you can avail the scholarship.

Yes you can definitely avail the scholarship if you are strong in academics and come from economically backward class or minority community

Extracurriculars are not up to the extent but they surely do encourage in sports and all. I don't think extracurriculars are the way they should be because they are very important to let your talent be shown.

I don't know much about the hostel accommodation and all because I am a day scholar. But I've heard from some of my friends that it's good. The food you get is pretty much local cuisine i.e., andhra meals. It's not bad either. But sadly no you don't get single rooms. You have to share it with 2 others. But hey it's the best part. You get to experience perfect hostel life

It is chill culture until you reach the end of semester. Then suddenly you have this heap of assignments and theory exams and lab exams. But it's not a chill culture if you are so serious and have a desire to learn new things.

Faculty here is very experienced and is very qualified. They are interactive and some faculty members put in a lot of effort to help us learn things. Sadly students don't utilize it. The standard of teaching is not up to the mark though. They don't let the students think, just continue with the class. I mean to say that it is not a two-way class. By the way thats the case only with some faculty members.
