Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I have an interest in physics. There are 5 permanent faculties and 5 guest faculties excluding the lab assistants. Faculties are Highly qualified, all have completed their PhD in physics and teaching skills are good. 2 terminal exams are conducted in a year with a total of 6 terminal exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 3150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this course are very very less than my expectations. The total amount I have paid for one year is only 3150 rupees which is very less as compared to other universities and colleges. Scholarships are also available with many government schemes.

Campus Life

RAVENSHAW is the main hub for fests and functions. Each and every day you will see functions at any corner of the university. Kanika Library is the biggest library in Odisha. Many extracurricular activities are also included.

Hostel Facilities

There are a total of 12 hostels in the university. 6 for boys and 6 for girls. Hostel fees are very affordable as the annual fee for a room is around 5000 rupees which is very cheap and monthly mess fees are around 1500 rupees.

Admission

Have to apply in the SAMS portal. Eligibility criteria- A merit list is formed according to you 12 th Mark and percentage. Cut-off is very high varying between 90% - 95%. With reservations like SC, ST, and PWD it may go down to 80%.

RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK is the one and only NAAC A++ tagged Govt university of Odisha also one of in India. Its everyone's dream to study in my University. Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it. So it;s the reason. I directly applied into this uniersity and get admission as am eligible for it and lucky also. The admission process is normal as other colleges.
