Infrastructure at government engineering college is very good and vast
Tech fest and sports here are well organized
Faculty members are so social and gets connected very well with student

Dislikes

Its location becauss we face many difficulties for livelihood
Hostel. Mess is not functioned well and fold quality is not good too
As you are outsider because you are not gujrati you can find some language issaue but it'll be solved easily

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I see my better future options in this course. Teachers are available for each and every topic even for one subject there are 3-4 teachers available for teaching. Teachers are qualified from gpsc state level exam of Gujrat. They had done mostly Ph.D. and masters from specified fields. The exam is controlled by gtu so they totally depend on that.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees at the government engineering college Rajkot are very low as it's a government-funded college. The annual fees here us 1500 only for boys and 750 for girls. In some cases, girls get free education too. From certain scholarships. The fee hike is absolutely very low I haven't seen any hike in 5 years my seniors say that from starting the fees are the same.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is awesome because you get menu opportunities to perform and show your skills. Here weekly many activities are carried out and almost every year there are two tech fests and one sports week which are mostly at the Institute level. Each and every department have diffrebt library of its own so book availability is very high. Many social groups run here too.

Admission

I cleared my entrance exam from jee mains and course eligibility should be up to 12th pass. You can find applications from jee mains and even get admission from the Gujrat entrance exam and acpc too. I just want to see a slight improvement in admission process guidance in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.
