Course Curriculum Overview
I chose sociology as my graduation hons so that I could know more about the society and could learn more about the tribal community of the society. We have 10 teachers with a strength of 40 students. Faculties are highly qualified with good experience in learning and teaching. We appear mid-sems every 2 months and semester exams every 4-6 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to spend Rs 500 every year as a re-admission fee. And with that, we have to spend Rs 250 as a fee every semester. Where as students of practical subjects like education, geography, and psychology students have to pay Rs.300. Also I applied for a state scholarship.
Campus Life
On our campus, we have a food fest every year along with the sports day. We have plenty of books to read and every day we have newspapers to read. Our classrooms are near and clean and for meetings, there is a conference room where other department students and teachers could also come.
Admission
The application form is easily available on the Internet. We got admission to the university on the basis of our 12th result. The minimum percentage for the general category of sociology is 80%. Although it was later reduced to 75% in the third selection.
