Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I love biology. I love helping needy ones. So I chose medicine. The faculty and student ratio is Best in AIIMS than other Medical Colleges in India. The faculty is very competent and mostly graduated from abroad and prestigious universities like Hopkins and havard. Also, there is one to one mentorship program where each student is guided by one faculty. Also, classroom slides are shared in the Google Classroom app. Term exams are very strict and punctual ruan any other college in the country. All AIIMS have the same curriculum and schedule for University exams and proffs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our institute provides the cheapest fees in the whole country, ensuring each and every student can study here and money should not be a barrier. Fees are astonishingly just 5865rs for the whole 5.5 yr. excluding the mess charge. Whereas in private institutions it can go up to 1 cr. If you study here only 5k is more than sufficient. And no worries about any price hike. Also, there are many scholarships under college and research programs. And you can get up to 1 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

4.5

Meraki is the annual fest and the most awaited function of all Kalyani medicos. It is held for 2,3 days in September and every student is free to take part. There are more than 6k books and the latest medical journals in our central library. It is fully air-conditioned spanning 3 floors with more than 200 seats. All classes are built in the American Medical College style. So you can seat for 5,6 hrs with ease. You can find outdoor games like cricket football, and volley and indoor games like table tennis, badminton, chess, etc There are more than 20 clubs and societies. Also, there are social accounts on Instagram and Facebook.

Admission

I appeared in Neet 2023 and scored 665, so I got selected for AIIMS Kalyani. All admission procedure is carried out by MCC. First, they publish the whole schedule of Round 1,2,3. Then you register and pay a 1000 RS registration fee and 10000 rs seat acceptance fee. You can easily get all these details in mcc.in the site. There is a 27% reservation for OBC, 10% for EWS and so on for SC and ST. Although the admission process is very transparent and secure but extremely lengthy this year. Which students at borderline suffer the most? Moreover, meritorious students also waste a lot of time at home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
