The campus is very attractive and is filled with greenery and the infrastructure is very well designed which is the most eye catching part of the university.
The location is very nice as one can easily get assesd to things ,markets ,hospitals . .
The laboratory are well equipped and various modern technology are available.

Dislikes

The university 's admin block as they delay work .

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to study about plants and nature so I opted for this course. Teacher: Student ratio is 1:5 Almost all the professors have a PHD degree from a central university and a coveted university and even some of them have phd from a foreign and their teaching method is mostly practically based and they create a very interesting learning environment in the class. There are a total of 6 semesters in 3 years and each year one will have 2 semesters.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 2400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee is 2400 per year and the readmission fee for the next year is 600 per year only. The hostel fee is 7000 per year. There are scholarships available in the university but one has to apply for it online.

Campus Life

There are a lot of celebrations inside the campus apart from national observatory days and each and every time there are competitions, fest. It feels like every month is a festive season here. Annual fests from each and every hostel and department are conducted every year. There is a large no of books from each subject in the Kanika library. There are three libraries apart from the department's own library. Different sports and extracurricular activities are conducted annually. The sports like cricket, hockey, football, and basketball are offered and selection at the university level can help one even to play for the state and further at the national level. There are different clubs like art and literary clubs, music club, dance club, fest organization clubs and placement clubs.

Admission

The eligibility criteria of the college is a 12th pass and one is required to fill application form for bsc course on the Ravenshaw university website according to their percentage in 12th, a rank list will be released based on which the college allocates specific dates for admission and reservation benefits is available.
