One of the best colleges of MP

The thing that I like the most in this college is the educational culture of the college , the teachers are very supportive and the bad thing is there is very less emphasis is given on practical learning. But so far if being concluded then we can say that this is very good college.

The entrance exam that I had given was JEE mains in which I have crossed the passing criteria of UIT . I landed up in this college because I have heard many things about this college that education and environment is very good here. Yes there was a short interview of aptitude has been taken before admission. I always loved playing with cars and machines so I have interest on these things hence I chosen Mechanical Engineering.

The course that I had chosen is very good the college have full concern on the department and the curriculum of course, the faculty are also very good pf our course, There is literally very less focus is being emphasized on practical learning there re very few labs. Yes various research initiatives have been taken by the college there is separate Research and Development department in college who look over these things

No the college doesn't provide any internship to the students if you are willing to utilize and enhance your skills and want to do internship then you have to get it by your own efforts , You can apply at many firms and will be selected as per your valuation. I haven't joined the internship yet as I am in 2nd year only . Seniors told that average stipend is 3000.

the placement scenario is very good in the college as the college is government so many companies regularly visit to get the talents from college , College also gives opportunity to every student to appear in the recruitment process. 84% students are generally placed every year and 100% of CS and IT. Major companies are Microsoft,Snapdeal, Huawei, TCS, Cogzinant,Tech Mahindra etc.

There are many technical cultural events organised by the college in every semester . The major technical event in the college is "Tech-Yatra " in which students perform their technical projects and exhibit it to every one. Main cultural event in the college is named as "Mahotsav " in which various programs have been held in which students perform and show their skills to everyone. Average footfall is around 4000 person. Yes both organisation and college contribute to the same extent,

The fee structure is very affordable you have to pay 40,000 per year including all the fee but you have to pay 10,000 additionally for the bus. And if you want to take more privilege like hostel and mess and laundry then you have to pay extra for it.

Yes college provides the scholarship to the students who have very good academics record in there department on other hand scholarships are also been provided mainly by the state government to the students who are from poor , minority , lower caste background . No, I haven't attained any scholarship because I didn't meet the required criteria of documentation. You can get loan by the Union bank of India college have collaboration with it and they have low interest for this college students.

The college is very good in terms of extracurricular as there are many event or co curricular activities have been organised by college like photography contest, sports, inter college singing competition , games, quiz , debates in which many student participates. Yes I have gained opportunity to explore my inner talent of creative writing and got second prize on it. there are very good facilities provided by the college and respective department of it.

No I have not taken the hostel facilities from the college but Yes as I have many friends who are residing in college is there so they told me about it all I can say that hostel facilities are not much good , There are both single and shared room facility for boys/girls there are additional facilities like indoor space for games, gym and all are there it will cost you 60 thousand per year, Yeah there are Pg;s also near the college and people generally takes PG it will cost of 6,000 approx per month including food if they will share the room/flat with someone otherwise 8000.

I don't have any interaction with my alumni as there is not such culture in college. No, nor does the college provide a platform for interaction like alumni meet and online portals to get connected with them. yes as the alumni of college are at very high positions so they do help in the development of college and also on the placement opportunities.

No here you are going to get hardly any labs , as there are very less emphasis is being given to the practical learning so there is no question about you will get tired from it On other hand there is very busy schedule of examination through out the semester you will be surrounded with exams after a particular period so you will surely get tired from it.

The faculties of particularly my department are very qualified and experienced they all are from very good institutes and have many research papers on their names. They are very interactive towards the students as they generally asks the queries and doubts regarding the subject , resolve it and then move further. Overall we can say that standard of teaching is good.
