Remarks

I would like to say that the university is good in academics side but rest of the extra curricular activities and other things like that are not supported here that makes it somewhat low.

Entrance Preview

I was in in my +2 when I came to know about this University. I just turned myself up to give its entrance exam.I fortunately cleared it and without any interviews just by counselling session got a seat in CSE department.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is totally up to the mark .I really enjoy studying it.Most of the subject curriculum is solely derived from Anna University Syllabus.Just few years ago our university collaborated with ISRO for launch of its first satellite,SATHYABAMASAT.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are mostly not provided by the University but we somehow mange to find one from outside.Till now I had done internships in HCL,CTS.They paid some 6000/- stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are good .Last year the average package was 4lacs and many students managed to get it.Around 70% students got placed.The major companies were TCS,INFOSYS,WIPRO etc.

College Events

Events are organized that includes both technical and non-technical events.HACKATHON,HACKEREARTH sometimes come to campus to offer some events.

the fee is somewhat high as it is a deemed University 1st year-260000/- 2nd year-245000/- 3rd year-245000/- 4th year-250000/-

Scholarships are given to meritorious students and also to those who are having financially poor background

Not much extar-curricular activities have its scope here .Only few sports like volleyball,basketball etc are there in name of sports .

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well maintained and disciplines.The food quality is also very nice. I was in hostel in my 1st year.

Alumni/Alumna

We have many seniors who got placed in different companies and keep on taking frequent visits to the campus.

Exam Structure

Exams I will say gives headache here.Each semester we are having 2 mid sems along with practicals and semester exams separately.

Faculty

The faculty is truly awesome .Most of lecturers I have seen till now really have a great knowledge of their subjects and are too friendly while teaching too which truly gives a great environment to study here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

How is life at Sathyabama?

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
