Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I had an interest in it, and the combination of physics and mathematics coupled with machinery is awesome. The faculty of the college is also good, they are kind and helpful and the teaching method is good, also they all are qualified for their positions. About exams, each semester there are two mid-semester exams, and one final exam(End-Semester exam), Exams are pretty tough, but if you are consistent in your studies since the start of the semester, passing the exams is pretty easy, just be consistent.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are good within the college, many companies offer internships even from 2nd year, and many government and non-government organizations offer internships, some with stipends and some without. Projects are generally related to respective branches and depend on which type of organization you are taking an internship from.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are offered in our college, CS/IT branch has the most number of placements followed by core branches(Civil, Mechanical and Electrical), students become eligible from 3rd year onwards to participate in placements for jobs, and many companies visit our college for placements specifically for CS/IT branch. The average package is 3-4 LPA and it gets as high as 10-20 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is one of the best colleges if there is a money problem with you, the fees are just 25000/- per year, and if you belong to any category, then fees are as low as 2-3k per semester. The cost of the study is so less that we can easily improve our Quality of life in other areas, like food, well-being, hygiene etc. Opportunities for scholarships are also excellent, as said above, OBC and Sc/ST students can get their fees as low as 2-3k per semester, besides General category students can also apply for many types of scholarships (one example being MMVY).
Campus Life
Campus life is above average, it's not bad but not too excellent, it is good and enjoyable but not some extraordinary experience. There are many clubs in college which you can join according to your interest(coding, drama, dance, singing, graphic designing etc). There is a plethora of books in the Library ranging from basic to advanced topics of every branch of each semester. Besides classrooms are fine too, the furniture is quite old, but classrooms are equipped with smart boards. For sports and extra-curricular activities, there are dedicated grounds for them, such as basketball, kho-kho, volleyball etc.
Admission
Admission process was simple. All we had to do was register in MPDTE counselling(based on JEE Mains rank) and list the priority of colleges we want. After the results are out, an Allotment letter is sent to you, and then you have to visit the college you have got within the given time limit(around 10 days). Their process is straightforward, all the required documents should be with you and there the helpers, and faculties will guide you throughout the process which is simple but very time-consuming. Reservation benefits are there, according to your category, you can get heavy benefits which can be seen in getting better branch and hostel facility.
