Course Curriculum Overview

I have many other options at my jee mains rank but I have to compromise any of these things for example branch, location and other factors here I was getting a decent college with the branch I want to be added that location is plus point! A TOTAL of 120 students in 1 branch, which is further divided into 2 sections, so I would better faculty to student ratio. all PROFS are good and well-qualified. if u study well there is nothing to worry about for passing in exams!

from the 7th semester, I think students are eligible for placements. a large no of companies visit here for placements the ROI of this college is very well mostly everyone gets placed in college placements maybe I will go for a job or higher studies! I m giving a rating on the basis of ROI

Fees and Financial Aid

This college's fees are very low even compared to Nits and IIITS ITS fees are almost abt 4-5 lakhs for the full degree (only tuition fees) u can find various scholarships, and you will come to know about those all when u once come to college.

Campus Life

This college is under PU (Panjab University) the most prestigious university of Punjab. So a large no of cultural fests are organised. The Library of PU is well known. Students are running Different Clubs. Classrooms are normal types from 2nd year you will have air-conditioned classrooms. sports activities are also well here, with many PU grounds for different sports hockey, football, cricket and many more

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are provided with 2 single beds, 2 almirahs, 2 tables attached to walls and 2 chairs. Mess food is like home food. Registeration process of hostels iis thorugh PU hostels website. The locality is also nice here, if you don't get a hostel you can go for PG as well hostels are allotted on a merit basis.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

He/she must have passed class 12th under any board. he/she also must have qualified JEE Mains. if you need cse/IT in this college u must hv scored 94%ile and more in JEE Mains You can apply for this college by filling out JAC CHANDIGARH counselling.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. It is situated in main Chandigarh and very near to my home. Moreover, it's placements are better than both of them....Read More
