Remarks

Overall the college is decent. The infrastructure is not very good. The college is congested. The canteen is good with CCD and other food items.

Entrance Preview

Hey there, So I was very interested in this course BA LLB since childhood and like every teenager I was confused for which institution I should opt for. Everyone suggested me to go for government institutions rather than private one's. So I gave GGSIPU-CET an entrance exam for my course. I got a rank of 2067 and through a online counselling process I got my college. Their wasn't any interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is pretty good. The subjects are interesting. Moot court competition s are regularly conducted by the institution with compulsary participation.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is not offered by the college. It is offered only in 5th year. But students do take part in internship during summer breaks and and end of semester by their own and earn around 5 - 8 k.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement scenario isn't very good. A descent package is offered. One must have a up to the mark attendance and marks to participate in placement procedure. Reputed companies like HCL do visit the campus with other recruitment companies.

College Events

3.5

Guest lectures are conducted frequently with court visits. Other activities as compared to other colleges is not much in this college. No trips are organised by college. The college takes least part in organising extra curricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is decent. 55,000 per year. For first year they charge 40,000 extra as GGSIPU fees plus 55,000 for institution fees. This is payable after the end of every two semesters. It is pretty affordable and better than other private institutions with a plus point of IPU degree.

Exam Structure

It's a chill culture in exams. Internal examination are conducted and then externals.

Faculty

2

Faculty is a matter of concern. Teachers are not able to explain the things effectively. Teachers are frequently absent for some subjects. Overall faculty is okay but not excellent.

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.
