- I liked about, college is very chill, no need to worry about attandance.
- Exams are very easy to pass, mid exam and final term exams.
- And moreover college is good for a average student.
Dislikes
- No practice knowledge, only theoretical knowledge.
- Lots of machines are there but not single machine is working . If you are going for a practical lab they will show you only but they will not start machine and they will not teach you how machine actually works.
- You will get less practice knowledge as much you need to get as a engineer.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the mechanical course bcoz I wanted to learn more about industry and machines. Qualification of faculty is quite good. Some faculties teaching methods is very good and some of them is very poor. Term exams taken on their time period as gtu has given the whole semester time table. Getting pass in exam is very easy, by reading at last time you can easy pass.
Internships Opportunities
As of now I didn't get a job yet , but there are many companies which gives internship opportunity and give stipend also like newen system which gives 10000 stipend and mostly companies gives stipend around 10000.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester, students can apply for placement in 7th semester. And companies like adani , torrent, L&T and lots of small companies come.and lovest package is 2.5Lakh to highest package 12 lakh and average package is 3.5 to 4 lakh. And placement is 100%. My plan is getting job only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of government college is 1500, but there are some more fees which is exam fees is around 900, semester fees is 1900. There are many benifits of scholarship, you can get digital India scholarship like 12000 + 7000(food bill) and MYSY scholarships is also 12000. Campus placement is very good while I am studying, i didn't get a job yet bcoz i am in 7th semester, placement has started in 7th semester and if you got job most of the company will provide internship and they give stipend also.
Campus Life
There are happens some annual fest and tech fest, but that are not that much good. There are lots of sports clubs and they create sports festival it's quit enjoyable but not for non sport person like me. And library is also there where never gone till now.
Admission
Application process is very easy, first of all based on your 12th board result you will get a rank , based on that rank you will able to choose your desired college in your desired branch. Admission is goes through ACPC. There are multiple rounds on selecting the college, first round is mock round, in this round you can check the probability of getting admission in your applied college, and further in 1st, 2nd and 3rd round will begin. In first round you got selection in your applied college and if you want to change the college you can change it in 2nd round but if you want to go privious applied college than every round you have to select the same college. This is how the process is very easy for admission in gujrat.
