Faculties are so caring and guide us in every situation
Library is well maintained and provide us books any time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are excellent. Faculties take care of each and every student. Semester exams are taken on every six-month gap and they are very punctual. Courses will be completed in a timely. If the students are sincerely dedicated to their study then they'll surely pass the exam with good grace.

Internships Opportunities

Many good companies offer great internships. This internship helps us in grabbing opportunities. They also provide us with amazing exposure which is best suited for our role. Companies like business development interns and many others provide internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 5k per year (without scholarship). There are many scholarships which are being provided to students like swami vivekananda scholarship and many more which helps students financially. If you are performing well in every semester then you'll get a job on campus.

Campus Life

There are many fest which are conducted by student unions on our college campus. Our Library is well maintained and they have almost every book regarding our course which we can avail of any time during college hours. The campus also focus on our extra curriculum activities and conduct many sports activities.

The admission process is very easy and every process is done online through the college website. All details regarding the course, application form, and application fees are clearly mentioned on the college website. If you choose this college then must visit the college website. Every notice regarding admission, classes and any other activities is uploaded on the notice board on the website.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I was selected to most of the universities except one that is Goenka as it was having a higher eligibility criteria which I couldn't able to meet. The reason why I choose this college because my cousin was the alumni of the college and the second reason was the affordability of the tuition fees. Umesh Chandra College is a different Universe for students!!
