Remarks
It was one sitting course, the last one. I applied through a study centre run by an Indian Air Force (IAF) veteran. As it was far away from my place, we could have not done it by ourselves. The course was fabulous offering three subjects. I chose Pol. Sc., Sociology & Pub. Admin apart from compulsory Engish & Hindi- totalling 1500 full marks. Eligibility was 12th pass. As I was serving IAF then, I could not have had any better opportunity to become a graduate of Arts. There after, the one-sitting course was discontinued.
Course Curriculum Overview
as I was not able to continue any other course in IAF, I had to get a BA degree. I got tremendous support from the University through an ex-IAF man fo filling up, depositing forms, conducting of examination, and arranging a stay near the examination centre during the examination period. though it was the peak of summer, none of us had any problems. Faculty also helped in doubt clearing in the midst of the examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it was a simple graduate course, the fees were very nominal and I don't remember the exact amount now. No scholarship or job assistance was offered at that time. At that time in 1996, being in service, the cost of examination fees and other study materials was not too much for us. We also did not aspire for a job or any other assistance. the study centre provided all study materials prepared with the help of the university.
Campus Life
We got a chance to visit the campus during our stay over the period of examination. The library was excellent and we got all types of additional study materials there. the ambience of the library was excellent and without any sort of disturbance. The classrooms are very spacious and well-lighted. the tables, chairs and fans were of very good quality.
