Course Curriculum Overview

Our college faculty is very good& also we'll be educated. They are also friendly to their students.Riya mam , ssm sir, ab sir , mg sir etc. Because I choose the Metallurgy brunch. Every semester has two internal exams & one end-semester external examination .exams are very easy to clear because teacher taught the students in a very good manner.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship facilities but it is very rare. The stipend is very low in amount . Always internship is done in a non-reputed private company. Students have to pay fees to take an internship.

Our college is reputed because of its placement. Many companies visit this College for placement in Jul, jaw,amns, time, etc company visit our college. In the brunch of Metallurgy, the placement is so high .almost 99 % of students got placed from this college on-campus students.

In the branch metallurgy, the percentage is so high. Almost 99% of students got placed from this college in the campus placement. the average package they offered is nearly 200000 INR annually. Scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS, KANYASHREE, etc are available in this college. Students get help from teachers regarding this.

Campus Life

They are 3 hostels on our college campus. 1. Satyen bose hostel, 2. Mining hostel,3. Bhagini Nivedita girls hostel. but in SB hostel room quality and any other is not so good. A hostel form is published and students have to fill in this form to avail of hostel facilities in each room ned, table, and electricity present.

Admission

An entrance exam expo is held every year in the month of May or June. The eligibility for appearing in this exam is X from a recognized school & the age is 15. In 2021 application fee was 450. The application form is released on website official website

Interview Experience

Such a nice experience. Test pattern & gd rounds are such a great opportunity for students but gd or offline written tests, interviews are also included they are already completed the process. Every semester I was learning everything or every subject.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
