The campus was quite good and was filled with many equipment.
College locality, and good sports in the ground of the college
The ground of the college is quite good and is smooth.

Dislikes

Hostel is slightly far from the college, according to my preference.
The college building is old and must be renovated.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason to choose the trade Metallurgy is there is much upcoming demand on this course, thus for more job opportunities. There are many quality faculty members in the college. Thus good for students. The teachers are good and have quality teaching methods and are well qualified too. A maximum of the teachers are Phd passed.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides an internship facility but it's very rare. But in our college AUTOCAD is done but a minimal account is taken from the students. It is done by the WEBEL Academy. The certificate is provided to all the students.

Placement Experience

Our college is reputed because of its placement. Many companies visit this college for placement. L&T, Bengal Energy Ltd, etc company visit our college. In the branch of Metallurgy, the placement is so high. Almost 99 per cent of students got placed from this college in the campus placement. The average package they offered is nearly 200000 INR annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many campusing opportunities in our college. Our college approves all the scholarships and helps all the financially required students for their bright future. The fee for the course is 1300 per year.

Campus Life

The college arranges a fest after every one-year interval. This fest is very pronounced and thus is very enjoyable and joyful for the students. All the students enjoy the fest. Annual sports are also arranged for all the year students.

Admission

It is eligible for all secondary appearing students or students who have appeared in secondary examinations. The application fee for the JEXPO examination is 500 rupees. There is no reservation for the general caste, but reservation is there for all the other castes such as OBC, SC, and ST.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
