The college has a very good environment and infrastructure. In our college we celebrate many events such as college day, freshers day, students fest etc., In the college premises every student is treated the same and also given the same preference. The faculty encourages us to participate in many events which are conducted outside the college. They make the students to participate in the evnts conducted in IIT s. We have good facilities but it would be good if the students utilise it correctly.

I came into the college through the entrance exam conducted by the college and in that exam i scored a rank of about 40,000. As this university is very near to my village and also have a very good reputation so i joined this college. I attended for counselling in many colleges but compared to those colleges i liked gitam very much. The course which I chose was ece, which is out of my own interest because i am interested in electronics side.

I chose ece as my course of study which is a basically a very tough subject but my staff supports a lot in our learning process. The main problem is that the college only focus a lot on theory and indulge a lot of theory into the students brains. It would be better if they improve practical learning classes. Many researches take place in the college and a lots of technological advancements also take part. Many government projects are under process in our college and most talented staff and students take part in those research works. There are no ellective options in our college.

Yes the college do provide us with internships in top companies. They recommend students for many reputed companies and also even students themselves go in finding internships in top companies. We are planning for an internship in steel plant in the month of December. Some of the companies provide stipend and it will be around 5-10 thousand. Some of the companies collect money for doing internship.

As we pay good amounts as fees, the college also invites many companies for recruiting students by giving them a lots sum. The placement cell of our college provides us a lot of training in improving our resume. They provide communication classes, apptitude learning classes etc., The major companies visited are tcs, hcl, wipro, techmahindhra, infosys, syntel, sanyam etc., Around 70-80 % of the students get placed every year and the average package is 3 lakh per annum. The highest package is 8 lakh per annum.

The fees is little more but satisfies the facilities provided by the college. The fees has to be paid is 1,70,000/- which has to be paid through demand draft at the beginning of the academic year. The hostel fees is separate and it is around 60,000/-. I think the fees is much feasible compared to other colleges. Extra amounts will be collected for books, examination etc., The fees increments will be around 20,000/- every year.

The faculty of our college are very experienced and qualified. Different fields have different qualified faculty members. The lab incharges have an experience of 2-3 years and the teaching faculty have 5-6 years of experience. The HOD and research faculty have 7-8 years of experience. Most of them are PhD holders in various research fields. They are very interactive and clear all our doubts in the subject topics and also motivate the students in achieving their goals. They focus mainly on the our field of interest. In our second year our faculty made us to do some mini projects which helped us to involve in the subject.
