But as usual no college will be in the expected range. But if u come to this University u come to know many good things not about the college but about ur life. Such as how to develop ur personality in life, financial freedom. About faculty in the very first year u won't get good faculty not the year goes on u will get the best.ok guys for sure u won't regret by joining this college rather u will be proud because no local college in India provide this kind of great things. Well join this college but in a good branch.

After my 12th,i gave entrance examinations of JEE Mains,BITSAT,SRM and VITEE.My rank in VITEE was very good and i was awarded a scholarship of 50k per year.My rank was 8k.I opted this college cause my brother is also studying here and i know the environment here.This is great college as per opportunity areas!

The worst thing i feel is curriculum,not only here but almost for all the colleges.Faculty doesnt teaches much and in return they want 100 from us.yes but at last you have to study by yourself.BTW there is one thing known as FFCS by which you can choose your own faculty and timings.

VIT provides you a letter signed by the Dean of your branch, that you can send to the company if required. For that you have to fill an IPT form and give it to your school office and the Letter will be in your hands in 2-3 Working Days.However, unlike the IITs, VIT does not have its own placement cell for providing you Internships. They do send mails that they get from different companies to recruit interested students as Interns. But there is no specific Cell in the college that takes care of your Internship Training.

Here are two categories of courses in VIT that is category A and B and mechanical engineering falls under category B whose fees is slightly higher than category A courses.(Computer Science core , IT and Mechanical Engineering (Automobile) are few other courses that are in category B). VIT fees changes every year for the freshers that is the 4 year fees structure that they propose for you could be higher or lower than ours(In my case my fees structure is lesser than those of students 1year senior than me).

Yes They do have scholarship schemes for the enrolled students , Once selected students are eligible to avail the benifits of the listed below scholarships. For the very obvious reasons it is good to earn while you study in the form of scholarships(thats my perspective), VIT is awarding the scholarship schemes on the basis of the merit of the students in the qualifying examination.

23 hostels are located in VIT campus. There are 17 Men's Hostels, which accommodate 13000 students in single, double, Three, four bedded and six bedded rooms. A gym facility is also attached to a well maintained swimming pool. The 6 Women's Hostels have room for 4300 students. Women students have access to gym facilities and a newly built swimming pool inside one of these hostel premises. Individual metering service for those who want A/C facilities is also provided. Optional washing services are provided in well maintained separate washing areas

Well, Every VITian has lived his dream of being a reputed personality after completing his/her graduation from VIT. Its a fact that VIT has given (and will be giving in Future) a lot of Graduates who can be considered Notable, in various fields, like Politics, Entrepreneurship, Research, and what not !!! But in my knowledge, there is no such existing link where there is a record of successful and unsuccessful Alumni.

The grading system for labs is something like this - 10 marks continuous assessment - It the average of the marks you get in the experiments over the semester. 30 marks Midterm/Lab CAT /Model exam 10 marks quiz(mostly before lab term end) The lab term end carries 50 marks. So to answer your question it really doesn't matter. You can easily cover up in your term end or Lab CAT. And also for the overall grade you are competing with students within your class there will be faculties who will give 5 or 6 marks. Labs are usually easy in VIT and just by attending them regularly and doing the experiments you can score easily.

I gave the VITEEE exam in April and just after the results of JEE the next day was the result of this.I didnt score good in my jEE so i planned to go with VITEEE.After 10 days i had my councelling in chennai.I went there and i was offered Information Technology branch.The councelling time was just for around 3-4 hours,and then i returned back.

Faculty Associated with various Programme in the School : They are assigned to different academic divisions based upon their area of expertise.I would like to say that faculty in VIT is not that good but okay okay.Some of them might help you even like your friends and some dont even care
