Opted BCA for tech Zeal. MSI boasts mostly PhD faculty, laid-back personas. Dual shifts for flexibility, balanced ratio. Exams timed well, not tough to pass due to profs' seasoned exam analysis; they anticipate probable questions effectively.
Fees and Financial Aid
MSI offers versatile fee payment methods-- drafts or online transfers-- for convenience. The fees are indeed reasonable. Scholarships, accessible via different categories, resulted in complete waivers for some friends, with faculty well-informed about these options. Fee hikes, typically around 1-2000 a year, remain manageable. Impressively, MSI provides job opportunities up to 21LPA, reflecting strong placement support. Additionally, they offer diverse internships, enhancing practical exposure. The institute's commitment to both affordability and enhancing career prospects is evident.
Campus Life
The annual fest at MSI is called "ENVA". and the college hosts two major fests annually. The library offers a variety of books available for a 15-day lending period, with students allowed to borrow up to 3 books at once. Different memberships can be availed on an annual basis for accessing resources. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, facilitating interactive teaching with student presentations. While sports might not be highly structured, the successful Sports Day celebration reflects positive outcomes. Numerous student groups span tech, dance, music, literature, painting, knowledge sharing, investing, and more, totalling over 15 diverse societies.
Admission
In September 2020 , I appeared for the entrance exam known as IPU CET, with the aim of securing a spot in one of the esteemed BCA programs offered by the colleges under the Indraprastha University (IPU) . Among these colleges, Maharaja Surajmal Institute (MSI) held a prominent position, and I was thrilled to discover that I had achieved a commendable rank of 186 in the very first rounf of admissions. Following my successful ranking, I proceeded to complete the necessary formalities to secure my place at MSI. The involved submitting a sum of 40,000 rupees as part of the initial fees required by the University. With this important step completed, I officially joined the institute, marking the beginning of my academic journey in the field of computer applications. It's worth noting that the admission process encompassed multiple rounds, ensuring that those who weren't selected in the initial round had further opportunities to secure a place in the program.
