college is having a very good infrastructure and a very calm environment

college has a very good infrastructure compared to any college,its in a very calm and greenery environment surrounded by nice view of nature. college provides numerous stage opportunities for the students to showcase thier abilities. college provides very good quality food in the canteen or foodcourt as well as the mess. college is very expensive in mANY cases they tend to take a lot of money as fees which becomes very difficult for the students . even though the college provides bus facility the timings of the college effects a little amount of students mainly day scholars as it becomes very late when they reach home

i joined MITE (mangalore institute of technology and engineering ) by management seat and have not written any sort of exam to enter here i have got seat in information science and engineering here ,there was no interview or anything ,only a small meeting of the candidate ,parents and the faculty in charge of the admission duty for admission duty i chose information science as i had my interests in computer during the start of my teenage.

as being in the first year i have not entered the branch specifically which i have chosen ,in the first semester i have been in the chemistry cycle having subjects such as programming and data structures ,basic electronics,mathematics (M1),environmental studies,computer aided engineering drawings,they focus on practical learning mainly in chemistry ,programming and data structures and computer aided engineering drawings,our college provides many courses mainly mechanical ,e&c ,civil,information science,computer science engineering

college does not provide internship the students who get placed get the job through campus selection and the others try outside for better opportunities and other people try to pursue higher degree ,the only internship to my knowledge given by our college is lecturing job or to be a lecturer in the respective department u have studied only if you have vacancies in that job.

mangalore institute of technology and engineering has very good placement offers and numerous good and well named companies come here for placement according to the seniors about 484 people are placed in this year and counting some of the companies which come over here or came this year are JSW,cafe cofee day,bosch ,hewlett packward,infosys and many more.

mangalore institute of technology and engineering organizes many fests namely onam,freshers day,ethnics day ,college day and last but not the least SENTIA .sentia is one of the best fests conducted by the college and it is famous all over india because mst of the time celebrities are invited to give their performances here namely shreya goshal ,ankit tiwary ,benny dayal,sunidhi chauhan and many more.

i have paid 150000 INR FOR THE FIRST YEAR and have to go on paying for the next four years as i have come under a management seat we even have to pay vtu fees separately which will be informed at the start of the college the college says the numerous fees which are related officially later such as ESDP fees etc . ESDP fees cost upto 20000 INR the first year and 10000 INR the second year .

college only provides the a payslip in order to apply loan with any bank ,the college offers some scholarship for meritorious students .other scholarships should be availed online which depends on the merit or for economically poor or financially poor students .

college is very supportive for extra curricular activities does not resist the students from attending any activity ,competition or talent exhibition .college has a very good programmes which allows the students to show their abilities ,they provide a great stage for the students to attain very good post and help them develop their abilities and showcase their talents.

yes i am residing in a hostel provided by my college mangalore institute of technology (MITE) they have very good facilities in the hostel but the rooms provided are very small for 3 people sharing rooms because it is the same size that of 2 people sharing room i am living in a 2 people sharing room i have paid 75000 INR for it with 20000 INR mess fees which has to be paid every month .

there are interaction between the seniors and students regarding projects exhibition,contests ,competition ,fests and programmes .but i never saw any interaction of the present students with passed out students or the alumni .yes the college asked the alumni to pay some amount for the development of the college and the betterment of the students in the future.

the exams in mangalore institute of technology are most probably same for all the college which comes under vtu system but MITE focuses a lot in academics they provide special classes and remedials for students scoring less than average marks in the internals helping them to take up good marks in the nest internals as well as the externals.

faculty in MITE (mangalore institute of technology and engineering) are very experineced even though the college has started 10 years ago they are developing at a very fast pace for the betterment of the students helping them in every way .the faculty helps a lot when the students arrive with any sort of academical doubts and questions they readily accept the problems and do the best to give us the solutions.the faculty also helps us in co curricular activities and competitions .
