Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I was interested in Technology and this is a booming course. We have 7 classes in CSE and in each class, there are 60 students, So to student-teacher ratio would be 1:60. The Teaching methods of the teachers were good as they were highly qualified although some of them could improve. We had 2 midterms and a semester exam each sem. We need to prepare for the exam well before the dates as passing is easy but scoring good marks was tough.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the company. The duration varies from person to person. Students have to complete a mini project in the final year which is beneficial during the placements. Most companies provide technical jobs and very few of them provide business roles.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in Kmit they offer placements to almost all students. The average package is between 4-5lpa. Internships are not provided by every company. Many students plan on doing their masters abroad so placements do not matter to them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 1st year fees were 1,03,000 and used to increase 3000-5000 each year so the total of 4 years could be approximately 4,20,000. I didnt get any scholarships or job opportunities till now. Looking forward to availing a job in 4th year.
Campus Life
We have 3-4 fests in a year such as KMIT evening, patang, Utsav, Dandiya night, etc. All kinds of books are available in the library and students can avail them. Classrooms have a projector and wifi connection. Sports in Kmit are not that good although we do have to play area.
Admission
We need to get a rank of at least 6000 in Eamcet, If you are from a reservation background then a 10000-15000 rank would be enough. You can find the application form on the official website of the Keshav memorial institute of Technology. They usually open the admission process once the Eamcet results are out. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits.
