I choose computer science and engineering because I have an interest in computer science. Chennai Institute of Technology has its main eye on the computer science department and also focused on other core departments faculty will guide us on the right path before the exam they will make us ready and apart from studies they guide us to be involved in many real-time projects and that makes the success of Chennai Institute of technology. Semester-based exams are conducted, for each semester 2 cycle tests and a full portion exam are conducted.

Which ever companies the students are recruited from that they will give the internship offers and other than that our college students opened the startups and become the entrepreneur from those companies we get the we get the internships.

Placement training will given from the third semester and placements will be started from the 5 th semester. Most of the top companies come for the recruitment like Accenture, hcl, Deloitte, cisco, etc highest package is approximately 20 lakhs and the average is 6 lakh package. Mostly 90 percent of the students are placed.

Fees are based on the student's marks and they might vary for everyone. You need to talk about the fees with any of the faculty in the admission they will guide you many scholarships are also available and more over most of the students will be placed on the campus itself.

For each and every department they will separately conduct the symposium around September it will happen and a cultural event happening at the end of February or the start of March named as takshashila which is a huge event conducted by the college students themselves all the facilities are available like the library, sports, many clubs are there like music, dance socio, etc it's the student choice to engage in the extracurricular activities.

The rooms will be neat and clean per room 5 members can be accommodated they will provide a cot and chair per person and 2 reading tables per room. Mess food is good in comparison with other colleges same menu is followed every week with slight variations and the food quality is good. Registration for the hostel comes along with admission if you need a hostel facility you can opt for it.

Admission is based on the anna university counseling but before that You need to visit the college once and be clear about the fees details, all the reservation by the government is availed, if some staff in CIT is known to you well and good you can quickly join, you can also join through management quota but I might increase the fees if the cutoff mark is good then you can come through anna university counseling.
