Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties of the sociology department in BJB Autonomous College are good at teaching, and encouraging students. Especially, Our current HOD Bibhabari Bal Mam is our role model who constantly and consistently inspires us. They are helpful and supportive.
Internships Opportunities
We don't have good internship opportunities in our college. Yet Swabhiman organization through a selection process selects the interested students for internship in that NGO. It gives us a chance to analyze education and policy systems for the disabled.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to give 2200 for admission in 2nd year and 3rd year. But at the first phase of admission, I had to pay 8000. We have scholarship opportunities for students who score good sgpa in semesters. There is no campus job in our College.
Campus Life
We celebrate freshers with and farewell party organized by student collaboration and guided by our department teachers. Sports, yoga, music, dance, and elocution competitions are often organized. Red Cross club actively works under teacher's guidance for social welfare and environmental protection. But the library doesn't have a good opportunity.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided by BJB Higher Secondary School and selection is per percentage secured in board examination. We have to pay 11,500 for admission and also Readmission every year. But we have to pay for our meals.
Admission
The admission process is based on marks secured in the board examination. BJB Autonomous College is a good college, especially for graduation. The sociology department has amazingly good faculties who inspire us to study and help us to organize a weekly seminar for our improvement. We had to apply for admission through the Sam's Odisha website. We were notified when we were selected for first-phase admission. Then we had to come to college offline for admission. 90% is required to get a seat in BJB Autonomous College for graduation irrespective of which team you come from.
