Internships Opportunities

During my college life, we were given various internships in finance, human resources, management, marketing, sales, graphic designing, etc. Some of the internships were paid and some were unpaid but they gave good exposure.

Placement Experience

The placement formalities start from the second year. Students are given time to prepare their resume and cover letter and they also send the standard format of the resume. The placement cell organizes various sessions on resume building, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this BMS course is quite basic just like other courses. There were various scholarships for women, for toppers and for reserved categories and people with physical disabilities.

Campus Life

Life at DU is undoubtedly the best experience. The college infra of Deen Dayal Upadhyay College is very nice. There are various societies and clubs like finance clubs, entrepreneurship development cells, etc.

Hostel Facilities

I live in Delhi so i didnt opt for any hostel or pg near my college. I used to do up and down daily. But few of my friends were living in the hostel, flats and pg. Their overall experience was quite good.

Admission

The difficulty level of the entrance exam was average. The admission process was quite smooth. In order to be eligible for this course, you need to have maths in your 11th and 12th class and they give some weightage to your 12th marks. no improvement required

Interview Experience

The Dujat test included topics from quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, data interpretation, general knowledge and verbal reasoning. The level of the exam was average and the weightage of the test was 65%.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

I applied for this college because of 2 main reasons to be exact..one, its co-ed, after studying in co-ed schools my whole life it would have been hard of I applied for all women's college. 2nd its infrastructure and NIRF ranking, even tho its an off campus college, its still one of the best colleges under DU. Good college for Life science.

I had a chance to float and choose other colleges of Delhi University But this college has everything which a modern infrastructure college wants and lab facilities for sciemce students is much good than north campuses. Modern infrastructure of this college gives competition to North campus of delhi university. I applied for Delhi university and colleges which i selected was Hindu college,Ramjas college,SGTB khalsa,Deen dayal upadhyaya ,kirori mal college,etc. But in first round i Got Deen dayal college so i continued with it and froze my seat . Later on E mail came from college for joining. Your documents verification occurs in november and you are given a more chance if you are not able to submit the documentt. Eligibility of my course: PCB background with 60% in 12th And tou should apply for CUET and select subjects like Physics, chemistry and biology also English(qualifying). At first i gave my JAT exam which at that time allowed admission only in BMS, BA(economics) and BFIA. I started to look for backup options and found one at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. The course is available in the cutoff list of DU.
