Course Curriculum Overview

From the childhood I was fond of Agriculture When I got to know about the course from my friends i immediately applied for the entrance and got selected There is no large difference in the raito The exams are conducted in semester system It is not that difficult to pass the exam

Class Size: 92Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is very good opportunity for getting scholarship For icar students they get 3000Rs. pm of scholarship if they maintain 70percent marks in semester For haryana studentstyere is a scholarship of 800Rs. pm for boys and 1200 Rs. for girls as if they maintain Above 70percent mark in semester and overall semesters

Campus Life

There was a youthfest conducted every year by the active participation of every student and faculty till 2016 3.12 laks volumes of books and other reading material, and 693 current Indian and foreign journals Classroom are getting smart nearly 70percent of classroom are smart with AC, projector and a large screen There is inter agri organised in which all india students of agriculture are invited to play their sport The wining team gets prizes and top students gets their seat reserved in MSc. of their own choosed department NSS national service schem in this university gives the opportunity to Parade at republic day to one student every year in the presence of President of india in delhi

You have to appear in entrance exam conducted by the university Forms are filled on site admission.hau.ac.in application fee is around 800 for general and 370 for category University is very good in sports and cultural activities.

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
