Review to SIET

I choose BE Computer Science because I prefer IT jobs and I like to work with Systems. In our department, there are 130+ students and 25+ faculties. Our faculties graduated and completed master degree's and their teaching methods are also good. There are three internals and one final semester exam and each internals has 1 month gap.

I got an internship at Rently which is located in Coimbatore. I you get placed in any company they will give the internship period of 6 months and they will hire you. Likewise, I get placed. I do some console-based and mini projects in college period to get placed on campus.

For placements, they give training from the 6th semester for which the students are eligible. There are 50+ companies visited till date and they offer the students for their requirements, it depends on the company The highest salary is 1400000 LPA, the company name is nference which is in Coimbatore. And the average LPA is 300000. They have 100% placements. But the reality is some are getting placed on their own. After my degree, I want to get placed in a good reputed company for my career.

For the Computer Science department, our college fees are 1.25 lakh for students who are from counselling and 2 lakh for students who are from management. They have provided scholarships for community-based like Bc scholarships, MBc scholarships etc For placements it is good and they have achieved 4th ranking in overall placement in Coimbatore.

Good campus with a green environment. I think the size of this college is small but worth it. They conduct many festivals, cultural, and events. But the worst is their canteen it is small and only limited items are in, and the price is average. The classrooms and the labs are good. Some systems are just for showcase. I'm not in sports so I dont know about that activities. but the grounds are in good condition. They have some clubs like Tamil mandram, Rotary clubs, NCC clubs etc

For eligibility, the student must secure good marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in their 12th Standard. If they apply for counselling they need these marks. To apply they need to approach the nearby counselling centre or they can apply on the Internet. Reservation is applicable only to Management students The admission process is good and smooth.
