Course Curriculum Overview
There is a lot of scope in bsc agriculture. The faculty members are very good and they taught the students on the basis of practical experience. Exams occur two times in a year, in one year two semester occurs. some subject exams are quite difficult but most subjects exams are average
Internships Opportunities
In the internship, two programs occur one is the RAWE program and the other is industry. These two programs are completed in 4 months and in these 4 months, the ICAR and the University provide internships and stipends. In the industry program students were sent to various industries which are based on agriculture as a raw material and in RAWE students were sent to villages to face the farmer's problems and to get some practical knowledge
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is according to semester. On average 6000 RS for one semester. The University is providing scholarships to intelligent students whose OGPA is more than 7. The degree of bsc agriculture (Hons) is 4 years, and in the 4th year internship is provided to the students. In the 4th year, students have to face the farmer's problem in the villages. The internship program is known as RAWE.
Campus Life
On the campus, there are many occasions that are celebrated. Our university NSS cell performance is very good. In the university Nehru Library is present. This library contains a large collection of books. The classrooms are very clean and smart classes are present. In the university, many inter-college inter-university and inter-state competition occurs. For all the students CCA classes occur in two days of a week Mountain club and many social groups are run by the students.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are fully ventilated and there are all types of rooms like one seater, two seater and triseater. The meal is very good. Mess is run by the students so the food quality and food variety is good overall. For girls the room is a free-only mess, electricity charges are taken and for boys, a few amount of money is taken as room charges. The hostel is in the campus. There are many hostels for girls and boys. An international hostel is also present for international students.
Admission
Applied the form after 12th form science. selection based on the entrance exam. The exam is of 100 marks and at that time the cutoff was 72 marks for general students. For other students, reservation is given. The application form found on the official website of CCS HAU Hisar University.
