- The only thing I like at Umesh Chandra College was the fees it was quite affordable..

- I like a dish from the canteen which is named as the devil egg my cousin told me to eat it and I had it it caused me 30 rupees and I will say it was quite enjoy well
Dislikes
- What I dislike there was the chess and tables they were poorly maintained
- The infrastructure of the college is not good at all as they have to branches why in Salt Lake and one at College Street they use pictures from the salt lake branch which is a good college but this scholarship branch is eww
- The teachers and the students most of the times speak and teach in Bengali which is unable for a good citizen of India to understand
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the four BCom Honours in accountancy and Finance because I grew up in a Commerce background household and all my family members are BCom graduate and I want to be an investment banker with SAP schedule on my degree that is why I choose this code and talk about the faculty student ratio the faculty was good according to the number of students present in the class and in the college the qualification for the faculty is very good teachers are very nice and friendly but I don't get to understand what this week due to me not knowing Bengali so called language barrier was present exams and all were followed by the Calcutta University curriculum in 75 is to 25 ratio 75 marks paper from CU and 25 marks from the college itself 5 marks for attendance 10 marks for internal written test and 10 marks for MCQ
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is good because other government college is are somewhat expensive I will say the whole course of this four year Bcom Honours in accountancy and Finance is around 22000 which is affordable I'll say as for one semester we have to pay around 2.5k scholarships and financial assistance were available but it was available only to those who secured 90 to 92% takes above marks
Campus Life
My life at campus was held out of boring as I was unable to understand anything from the teachers are the students everyone is speaking Bengali and I in spite of living in West Bengal don't know anything to talk or understand about Bengali Fashion all was organised by the union people but I was not involved in there only thing I dislike about the college was the infrastructure it was very very poor the bench the ceilings the wall the only thing that was good was a was a 25Watt Crompton LED fitting Sports and extra curricular activities were there but it was not well maintained the college was dirty to be honest and it was not good at all for a standard human being to go any stay there for 4 years
Admission
So basically I was a good student with a good reputation and character from my previous school and I secured 89% so I was eligible for the 4 year B.Com Honours in accountancy and Finance course I applied through the website there admission portal we started from 1st July 2023 and ended on 15 July 2023 my name came on the 4th merit list and I logged in with my account and got admitted in the first place I had to pay 5560 rupees including first year fees and other bank charges above 75%.
