Course Curriculum Overview
I chose English because of my interest in the subject. My class has a student-to-teacher ratio of 130:1. The teachers are highly qualified and they explained and covered the syllabus on time. Internal exams are scheduled in a haphazard way. A little more heads-up would be nice.
Internships Opportunities
Offers are mostly given to BBA and Bcom students. Getting a placement or internship as an English student is rather difficult but not impossible. People must carry their resumes and photographs, documentation to qualify.
Placement Experience
From semester 4 students can apply. Big names and also passed out students with their companies visit the college to hire. My plan is to study media and communication management MA after I get my bachelor's degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees are very affordable (for me). Scholarships are provided to eligible students. My batchmates who scored above 90% in 12th get a cut-off during the 3rd year if they submitted the form on time as mentioned.
Campus Life
UMANG is the college fest. Many other fests are hosted too. The library is humongous with a lot of books. The classroom is digital and well-equipped. The sports area is extensive. More than 9 clubs for students to join and get more experience.
Admission
Eligibility: above 60% in 12th, people who score above 80% will get admission in the first list. Application: online, free of cost form. Dates: Keep an eye on the official from June. Improvements: None, everything is prompt and the admission faculty is very helpful throughout.
