I chose this course because it was a good option to pursue along with CMA In Umeshandra College you can pursue only b-com or b-com (hons). The total number of students in college is approx 400-500. Teaching is somewhat average in my college. It's average not very good and not very bad. The term exams are over after 6 months. Since my College is registered under Calcutta University you need to study well to pass the exams.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to peruse bcom/b-com hons in my college is quite low. One can easily afford to peruse the course Since I was from the general category I didn't get any scholarship scheme or stipend. But it provides scholarship facilities for poor students.

Campus Life

No such fest is conducted. only inter-college football championships are conducted twice a year. Almost all books are available in the Library the infrastructure of the Library is also quite good. You can play indoor games in college only No outdoor games since it has no ground. Only the student union is run by students.

If you score atleast 60% in the 12th boards You are eligible for pursuing bcom in Umesh Chandra college. You can get all the details in the college website No, it is not complicated. The admission process is already user-friendly

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
